Excellent house - plenty of space, including backyard with picnic tables. Rooms all comfortable and 3 bath/shower rooms was excellent.
Easy to find, quick 5 minute walk into town centre.
Would easily recommend to any groups looking for comfortable, town centre accommodation.

It is ideally placed with in very easy reach of the town centre with all amenities and trips on the lakes and visiting the pencil museum. Also good for various walks out from the house. No need to move the car!.

Very enjoyable holiday. Spacious and spotless accommodation.
Usual problem with the parking situation, particularly for such a large property. That aside we would certainly stay here again.

Excellent property that we will definitely use again.

Ideal for large families or groups travelling together. Spacious bedrooms and well fitted bathrooms. Tastefully furnished throughout and very comfortable - a real home from home. Shops and local amenities just a short walk away and set against the beautiful backdrop of the magnificent surrounding hills. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. We were a large group but wanted to do different things.
The house is 2 minutes walk from Keswick centre, 7 minutes walk to the hills and close to a main route in all directions this means that walkers, explorers, shoppers and photographers were all happy.
In the evening there's room for communal eating and space for individuals to do their own thing. The bedrooms spacious and comfortable.

It's excellent location affords easy access into Keswick itself and is only a stones throw away from the beautiful surrounding areas.
We will definitely be using this premise in the future.

I rented newlands house for a long weekend to assemble the whole family to celebrate my wifes 65th birthday. We are familiar with the area so the house was an ideal choice close to the centre of Keswick and all the ammenities. The accommodatin is over 3 floors
with 5 bedrooms. The older boys loved the top floor room with bunk beds while the family room with en-suite was perfect for the smaller children. The other rooms all had twin beds so everyone was well catered for. Downstairs the lounge was very comfortable and the kitchen and dining room were very well equipped.
A very pleasant place to go, highly recommended.

Great week, just like a home from home once you are parked up everything is in walking distance from Newlands House

Definitely 4* accommodation and having access to 3 bathrooms and WIFI made such a difference as there were another 2 families staying with us

Everything was just perfect, the weather even stayed good for 5 out of the 7 days, we were that impressed that we have booked the same week next year

Samantha Evershed – Manchester

What a wonderful place, we have two walking weekends with a bunch of 11 friends each year, where we get together to catch up and enjoy the Lakes and each others company. This was the first time we had tried Newlands House and it put the finishing touches to a great weekend – we will definitely come again

1st time in the Lakes with three generations of the same family, Newlands House is big enough to lose yourself in and still find a bit of peace of quite

Jack Edwards and family – all 10 of us – Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow

1st time we have visited the Lake District – we didn’t realise what we had been missing for all of these years, and you can walk from the House up several Mountains with ease, we did Skiddaw, Grisedale Pike and The Newlands Round, great to come back to a comfortable place with everything to hand
